Top general in Iraq urges troops to take extra care around Iraqi civilians

NEW YORK, June 2 — In the wake of the allegations of the killing of civilians, the top U.S. general in Iraq urged his troops to take extra care to ensure that unarmed Iraqis are not harmed.

A letter dated Thursday by Gen. George W. Casey noted that combat leaders have to make ''difficult decisions, often in dangerous and ambiguous situations.''

I have a built in bullshit detector and it just pegged when I saw this headline.

How in the hell are you suppose to tell civilians from terror-pukes when they all dress the same, look the same, and hide their weapons once they are cornered like the rats they are. A better policy would be to tell the civilians that the US Military will shoot everyone in any position they take fire from.

Don't every buy that old saw about winning their minds and hearts. Garb them by the gonads and all the rest will follow!
