WASHINGTON, May 5 — To anyone who doubts the stakes for the White House in this year's midterm Congressional elections, consider that Representative John Conyers Jr. of Michigan, the Democrat who would become chairman of the Judiciary Committee if his party recaptured the House, has called for an inquiry into the possible impeachment of President Bush over the war in Iraq.

When I was 10 or 11 years old and still attending church because my parents forced me to do so there was a visiting minister I'll always remember. He was one of those 'Hell Fire And Damnation' sort that many Protestant churches seem to produce and I remember him thundering from the pulpit. "VENGEANCE IS MINE SAITH THE LORD AND I AM THE LORDS SWIFT SWORD."
What the minister meant was God would have his vengeance by using a believer as his instrument of vengeance. That's how I feel about Republicans, Rove & Bush & Co. They have betrayed Conservatives throughout this nation and deserve ever damning thing that happens to them. I and other betrayed Conservatives will wield our swift swords in November. Rove can blather on all he likes he's not pulling me and others like me back into the fold with him and the rest of these damned lying pricks!
