What is the Big Gripe with the Mexicans?

What is the Big Gripe with the Mexicans?
Excerpts reprinted with permission from Dr. M. Sideny Wallace

When President George Bush met with President Vicente Fox of Mexico and Prime Minister Stephen Harper of Canada, last week in Cozumel, Mexico, the major topic of discussion was cross border relations.

President Bush said that those individuals wishing to cross the Canadian border would in the future be required to have a tamper proof document like a passport or other such document. This additional requirement will mean a little more hassle but the topic received very little media coverage.

When President Bush asked President Fox for help with his Mexican population crossing the American border he was turned down flatly. President Fox said that the Mexican constitution forbid him from interfering with any individual from going anywhere in his nation. This perfectly logical and opportune excuse allows him to continue sitting on his sombrero and count the American dollars that flow into his national treasury each day.

President Fox has absolutely NO intention of slowing down the Billions of American dollars flowing into his bank accounts from Mexican nationals in the United States. If these dollars were withdrawn, his bungling authoritarian government would collapse like those of the Soviet Union, East Germany, and soon France.

There is no question that the United States needs a large labor force. However, the national anti free market labor unions and their willing co-conspirators in the government have created a lazy population that thinks they are too good to do the work.

Mexican workers on the other hand are eager to:

(1) Get out of their native homeland dominated by government bungling policies to hamper personal freedoms and

(2) Come to the United States where business and individuals are desperate for good employees that are willing to provide a fair day’s work for a fair day’s pay.

The United States’ taxpayers are the ones that are being required to pay for the Mexican labor the nation so direly needs. The problems are many and we have created them on our own.

The solution: While President Fox of Mexico cannot impede his population from traveling anywhere they wish to go, his constitution says absolutely nothing about paying for the health and welfare of his citizens traveling in foreign lands. The United States should send Mexico a bill for any social or medical aid provided to any of his citizens while they are in the United States. The new oil and gas field in the Gulf of Mexico should pretty well cover the cost.

Fox is typical for what Mexico has had to suffer throughout its history since it gained independence from Spain. Nothing have ever been too much for Mexico's President's and nothing has ever been to little for Mexico's regular citizens.

If Mexico all looked like Cancun or the other resort towns in Meciso Mexicans would not be invading Norte Del Americo in record numbers.
