The Journalizmers Continue Their Stellar Track Record

The Journalizmers Continue Their Stellar Track Record Journaljizzm, Lefty America Haters, Media Whores The AssPhyxiated Piss™ and their 18,654,298,173 layers of “editors & fact checkers” have done it again. Here’s what appeared on the front page of the Thursday, March 2nd Tampa Tribune: (It’ll be pay-per-view archived or deleted before long, we’d wager.) (Note: All emphasis mine—B.) Bush Alerted To Levee Danger From The Associated Press Published: Mar 2, 2006 (In the dead tree edition it also has “By: Margaret Ebrahim & John Solomon”—B.) WASHINGTON - In dramatic and sometimes agonizing terms, (The HORROR!—B.) federal disaster officials warned President Bush and his homeland security chief before Hurricane Katrina struck that the storm could breach levees, put lives at risk in New Orleans’ Superdome and overwhelm rescuers, according to confidential video footage. Now, let’s take a look at what appears ON PAGE 5 in today’s (March 4th) Trib. AP Clarifies Bush Wasn’t Warned Of Levee Breach The Associated Press Published: Mar 4, 2006 WASHINGTON - The Associated Press on Friday clarified an earlier report concerning a warning President Bush was given about the levees in New Orleans the day before Hurricane Katrina struck. In my view this is the classic 'spin treatment'. Bush knew, Bush didn't know. Bush knew some. Kick all the above around a few thousand times and the b/s potion kicks in.

No one will really know what happened and in the end no on will care. As a matter of fact outside of NOLA this whole story is pretty much a yawner.

The American public has the attention span of a two hour made for TV movie. If it can't be solved in two hours, oh well its not worth the trouble and its time to move on.
