Calif. Denny's Chain Sees Another Shooting

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - A gunman opened fire at a Denny's restaurant, killing one man and seriously wounding another, police said. It was the third fatal shooting in as many days at a Denny's in Southern California.

The latest shooting happened early Friday outside a Denny's near Angel Stadium after a fight broke out between two large groups of people who had been in the restaurant, said Sgt. Rick Martinez of the Anaheim Police Department.

One victim re-entered the restaurant after being shot and died inside, Martinez said. The other victim was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive. The gunman was being sought by authorities.

Authorities also were searching for a gunman who killed a 37-year-old man a day earlier during a fight in the parking lot of a Denny's restaurant in Ontario.
